The Circuits and online racing gaming modes are essentially the same with the only difference lying in the fact that in online racing, you are made to race at any random racing circuit whereas in circuits, you can choose whether you want a 50cc race, a 100cc race or a 150cc race. Time Test is essentially a race against the clock and you need to complete three laps within the time allotted to move to the next challenge.

The kart game is great because of the choices it presents in terms of the racing karts and the racing personas. Three racing karts are initially unlocked and they are all very different in terms of speed, acceleration, control, braking and weight.
